About Dr. Beckman

Fellowship-Trained Precision, Real-World Experience

Dr. Di Beckman grew up in the Chicago suburbs and received her undergraduate degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Illinois. Before medical school, she worked in the medical device industry developing new products for hospitals across the country — an experience that gave her a deep appreciation for innovation in patient care.

At the University of Illinois College of Medicine, she earned her medical degree with honors and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She was then selected for a highly competitive integrated plastic surgery residency at Rutgers University, training rigorously in both aesthetic and complex reconstructive surgery for six years. During residency she developed a strong passion for plastic surgery education and research, earned several teaching and clinical excellence awards, and served as Chief Resident in her final year.

After residency, Dr. Beckman was selected for an aesthetic surgery fellowship at H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery — one of the nation's premier aesthetic plastic surgery practices — where she trained with nationally recognized surgeons and had access to the most innovative procedures available.

Dr. Beckman attributes her aesthetic eye to a genuine appreciation of arts and music. She loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking, running, and skiing. She moved to Carmel with her husband and is proud to call this community home. She is dedicated to achieving transformative results for her patients, helping them feel their very best.

Services Offered

What Dr. Beckman Offers

Dr. Beckman offers a range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments alongside her surgical practice. As a plastic surgeon, she brings fellowship-level surgical knowledge of facial anatomy to every Botox and filler treatment she performs. That matters: understanding facial anatomy at the surgical level informs how a practitioner places product, avoids complications, and reads long-term changes in facial structure. Her non-surgical menu includes Botox, dermal fillers, Kybella, CoolSculpting, Morpheus8, and Renuvion (J-Plasma) skin tightening.

Advanced Technology

Renuvion / J-Plasma Skin Tightening

Dr. Beckman offers Renuvion (J-Plasma) skin tightening at My Plastic Surgery Group. The device combines radiofrequency energy with helium plasma to contract and tighten skin with precision not achievable with surface-level energy devices. It is commonly used on the face, neck, and arms, and can be performed alone or in combination with liposuction for patients seeking skin tightening alongside fat reduction — a combination that Dr. Aker and Dr. Beckman perform collaboratively at MPSG.
